The pick-up takes place at the arranged meeting point. You will enjoy a scenic ride along the coast and stop by a couple of amazing panoramic views of the Dalmatian coast. We will arrive to this pearl town of the Adriatic Sea before noon. Each corner of the city is an unique experience that makes all occasions special. You will find out more about Dubrovnik while attending the guided tour.
The guided tour lasts for about an hour and a half, enough time to visit the main attractions. We enter the medieval city through the monumental door Pile Gate, located at the top of Stradun, the famous main street in the old town. We keep on walking to the Franciscan Monastery, whose cloister is one of the most magnificent monuments in the city and the oldest pharmacy in Europe opened in 1317.
A little further is Sponza Palace, notable for its portico with columns and elaborate stone carvings which nowadays is the house of the State Archives. Our tour ends by visiting the cathedral which was built on the ruins of the twelfth century church but then destroyed in 1667 by an earthquake. After a pleasant walk along numerous sites, you are able to explore the hidden corners of the town by yourself. Feel free to climb the walls or take a cable car, try the authentic national dishes in the local taverns or just enjoy a cup of coffee in the nearby cafes.
